A dreamer's WDWCP adventure

It may not help much since it’ll be a repeat of what everyone else said. 

BUT I’ll give it a shot.

1. I got accepted my first time applying to the college program.
2. To begin, my phone interview was at the beginning of when applications came out. It took me 5 months to hear back from Disney so DO NOT FREAK OUT when you don’t hear back from them right away. Keep the faith. :)
3. The phone interview preparation… I had mine in the mid-afternoon, so I had time to prepare beforehand. I am an actor and I naturally go over lines to myself so that I’d have practice so I did the same thing with the questions and my answers. There’s several lists of interview questions that you can find online that you should go over and actually SAY THEM OUT LOUD what you want to respond with. Write them down. Think of what Disney would want in an employee. 
4. The actual interview. Take deep breaths. Don’t be nervous. When they call you make sure you throw in there that you are appreciative of them calling you.
5. Throw in there an Ma’am/Sir because Disney would want someone that would have manners and are considerate of other people.
6. Have your questions/answers written down. You actually won’t use it at all, but the first question I blanked out because I was so nervous… I wrote on my paper WHY I wanted to work at Disney… and when I looked down at that paper scribbed with Mickey Mouse Ears and Disney characters…and I knew why I wanted to work for Disney and the nerves went away and told myself it would be fine. All nerves disappeared and I was myself. I pretty much talked about why I love Disney and the opportunity to work them would help me grow as a person and what role I would love to work in. They asked me if I would work in QFSB and I told them that I would like to try something new since I work at McDonalds. (be sure to rephrase something if you absolutely won’t want to do a role, say so.) so they took that into consideration and I got put into Attractions. (One of my top roles)
7. SO. Relax. Think Disney. Be yourself. Be patient when waiting to hear back from them. Faith. Hope. Disney. OKAY?!
