A dreamer's WDWCP adventure

IT WAS INCREDIBLE.

When I saw Vista Way I was in shock. I had no time to think about what was going on. It was happening. It hit me. I AM MOVING HERE FOR 5 MONTHS.

I had texted several people this morning and all day throughout this process because I wanted them there WITH me. The moment I stepped on Vista Way property, I was excited. I was excited about this adventure that I would start. I was sad about leaving my family and my kitty but the excitement took over and I was much too excited and overwhelmed with joy today that I didn’t have time to be sad.

I met up with my roommate once we got through the check-in process. We took the bus to casting afterwards and I realized I needed my ID and I had left it in the car so I ended up having to walk all the way across Vista property to get my purse out of the car. I got back in time before the bus left for casting.

I got there, and it’s a VERY drawn out process. They really do mean everything when you sign your life away. Hahaa. I had to go through background check and … of course I pass with flying colors. ;P more paperwork. More lectures. Throughout this process I met a few people in line. I talked to them a little bit and one of the girl I had met ended up coming over to my place for a little pizza party because my roommate had met her as well. :D Anyway, They do fingerprinting.

….like I’m gonna do anything bad. Hahaa.

As some of my close friends know, my fingers are just not …urgh. You can’t see my fingerprints. It took me an hour later and two guys to FINALLY get all of my fingers registered onto the computer and on my ID.

Finally went though all of that. Took the bus back to Vista Way I met up with my roommate at our place. Let me tell you, it was AWESOME having a key to my own apartment. My parents then drove us to the housing meeting.

They left after that. Honestly… I thought I was going to cry leaving them but… I think I was just actually READY to live on my own and to face the world on my own. I was excited on top of it and so I didn’t cry. Mom texted me later and said she did when she got home. I feel bad but I honestly didn’t feel sad. I might later on, but I was too excited at this point.

Housing meeting/welcome session. CLUB. strobe lights. ‘NOUGH SAID. :D

We then had the rest of the day to chill and relax. my roommate and I met up with two other girls and we all went to walmart together because one of them had a car.

so we did that and decided to throw a pizza party. so we did. Haha. We didn’t have a pizza cutter so it ended up…well… a mess. :P We played a game and just hung out a bit.

Then I got a chance to talk over Skype and that’s always nice. :) My roommate’s best friend and her went shopping at walmart because…. we forgot dishsoap and… a bunch of other things. hahaaa. 

My roommate’s bestfriend is over tonight to spend the night since we don’t have work tomorrow. SLUMBER PARTY!
